Busy, busy, busy

Man being this busy all the time is taking its toll. I feel like I barely have time to breath. LOL My new sping/summer classes are crazy and the workload is unbelievable, add in a 4 yr old (who's sick at the moment) I'm working on Pre-K homeschooling with, household duties, helping my brother and sister in-law get into the swing of things with their new baby, all my projects and such and it makes for some super busy days. Hoping to get into a better routine with things and have things calm down a bit soon.

Its warming up here in CO, which I am LOVING!! But I'm sad we didn't have a nice winter with some warmer snow days so Ender and I could get outside and play and go sledding. But so it goes, bring on the warm weather and sunshine. :-)

I'm starting to work on some new projects one being a purse/hang bag as I can't seem to fine anything that I actually like in stores. So we'll see how that goes and I'll post some pictures as things get more under way. I'm also starting a blanket dedicated to my Twilight obsession. LOL :-) Again pictures as that gets further along, I'm still working on piecing together me thoughts and ideas on that one. Which brings me to me other project, I am working on getting a blog/site up dedicated to Twilight and the actors/actresses in the movies. So we'll see how that goes. I'm also trying to do some research and plan a nice garden for this year. 

I'm also thinking this blog could use a little spousing up with a new layout, so I hope to get to that this weekend. :-) Anyway that's all for now. Time to get some homework done and do a few things around the house. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday and getting some sunshine in their area!! :-)

Wow its been a while.

Its been forever since I have posted a blog entry. :-( I'm ashamed to say life got the better of me for a while, I have just been super busy with having a 4 yr old, classes, and just life in general. But lets see if I can give this blog another go and stick with it and really get it going. :-)

Lots going on, on our end. I am finish up 4 classes this week and will start 4 new ones for the spring/summer season. Other then a few really bitter cold -10-20 days we have had a pretty mild winter here in CO and spring is definitely in the air. Which is just fine by me I'm not much a cold weather person. There is brand new precious baby in our family, my brother and wife became first time parents a few days ago (03-10-2011) to a beautiful baby boy they named Nyle. He is adorable and such a sweetheart!! I have had the blessing of being able to help them the last few days and spend lots of time snuggling him. :-) Completely warms my heart!! Ender is totally excited to have his new cousin and he should get to meet him very soon. 

I have lots of project coming up this week and in the next couple of weeks. I'll post more about them later today or tomorrow as Ender is itching to get outside and enjoy some sunshine. :-) And I should really be finishing up a paper for school.

Manic Monday

Good morning/good afternoon everyone!! :-) This will be a short blog as this really is a Manic Monday for me, but I wanted to say hi and at least post a little blog. I have gotten a few emails from people who say they read my blog and can't wait to hear more from me. That's so sweet, thanks everyone, I promise I will be a lot more interesting if you bare with me for the next couple of weeks as things settle down here. Also be sure to add yourself my followers list. :-)
I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend, if you went Black Friday shopping I hope you got some awesome deals. Ours was busy but great. :-)

It snowed a bit here last night, not enough to actually be anything but a little bit counts. :-) So of course its pretty cold here so we'll be staying inside.

Anyway house/mommy duties call so I will end for now, I may post another blog later on if I can. For now Happy Monday!! :-)

So Much to do Sunday

Had a late start to the day today. I was up late last night, I tally lost track of time as I usually do when I get into a project. On the plus side my mom had my little guy this morning so I was able to sleep in and catch up on some much needed sleep. So definitely feeling less tired and more energized today.

Hoping to get a TON done today. I would like to finish reorganizing bedrooms today, go through Ender's toys and get rid of things he know longer plays with. I would also like to do some rearranging, and get the Christmas tree up by Wednesday. But we have added some things since last year, like 3 frogs, so that means 3 new froggy habitats. So I would like to get them onto their stands and into their permanent places. And I need to finish refinishing Ender's new dresser and get that into his room. So we'll see how much I can get done today and over the next few days.

On the down side my hurt hand is REALLY hurting and bothering me, its looking pretty bad. Its very red and sore and acting like a burn, but I didn't burn it. So I have to baby it some and will probably go see my dr. if it doesn't improve in the next day or so.

I also have a pretty busy week ahead of me beside the things I'd like to get done around the house. Monday (tomorrow) I will be heading to Denver with my brothers girlfriend so she can meet with a breeder and pick up a new poison dart frog. So we'll probably do a little Christmas shopping while we're up that way too. Tuesday I need to run some errands. Wednesday I hope to get the tree up, see my allergist. then its family game night at my oldest brothers again. Thursday I hope to finish getting the Christmas decorations up, maybe take pictures, and also told Ender we would try to go see Alpha and Omega at the theater. Friday will be Twilight day, getting ready and then heading to the midnight release of Eclipse. (SO EXCITED!!!!!!!)

Sleepy Saturday

Hello everyone!! Happy belated Thanksgiving!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. :-) Well its been a few days since I've posted a blog, I've been super busy. Thursday was of course a huge family day with everyone in my family getting together. Then I headed to Toys-R-Us at midnight for the beginning of the Black Friday sales. Got some awesome deals on some things for my little guy. But not sure I'll do that again. They were only letting 50 people into the store at a time, so I spent 2 hours outside in 15 degrees freezing my butt off. Then once inside it was a mad house, then spent about 2 1/2 hours in line to pay. But I did get some fantastic deals, missed a lot of things on my list, but hey ho that's the way it goes. :-)  
One of the things I did pick up and I'm kicking myself for not buying more of them is a nice plastic bin with a ton of Crayola art supplies (crayons, markers, scissors, paints & brushes, model magic, construction paper, and some other things I'm forgetting) inside for $9.99, well worth the money and will come in very handy.
Got home from there at about 5:45am, got a couple of hours of sleep, then my mom and I took Ender to the movie theater to see Toy Story 3 before its gone. He did AMAZINGLY at the movies, was quite pretty much the whole time and very into watching the movie. So I'll probably make this a weekly or every other week outing for he and I with Grandma coming with us when she can.
Today we kind of took it easy as everyone was still recovering from the last couple of days. Ender got up at 4am today and didn't nap at all, so I'm pretty sleepy, I think I've gotten about 7 hours of sleep total in the last 2 days. So hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight and be refreshed tomorrow, I've got a ton of stuff I'd like to get done.
Tonight before I head to bed I'm hoping to finish up the reorganizing of my scrapbook stuff and proof a paper for a class I'm taking. We'll see how that goes.
Does anyone know what happens ONE WEEK from today? The release of the twilight saga: eclipse DVD?!?! I'm so excited I have been waiting for this for what seems like FOREVER!! LOL So me and my twilight group we call ourselves the Twi- ♥ - Posse LOL will be out Friday night for the Midnight release!! :-) Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?!

Simply Wednesday

Well I didn't get a chance to post a blog yesterday due to a line break in the area so know one in my area had any power for most of the day, and no power means to no modem. So instead I did some art projects with Ender, started reorganizing my scrapbook stuff, and went through a ton of photos.
On to today....Its pretty cold here and we are under a blizzard warning at the moment, which I'm honestly pretty stoked about and hoping for a nice amount of snow. But we'll see this is Colorado weather after all anything can happen.

We also have a new froggy family member. I first saw this little guy on Sunday when I went to the pet store to get food for our others two frogs. He was still there today and I couldn't resist. He is a Dumpy tree frog, he's still young and will grow to about 2 1/2-3 inches. His name is Kiwi, here are a few pictures.

I also hurt my left hand today. I slipped and scraped up the top of it and took some chunks out of it, so its all bandaged and wrapped up making some things hard to do.

I also have a few projects I'm going to start working on, probably after New Years but we'll see. For now I'm going to say goodnight and hopefully I'll get more time to blog this weekend.

Manic Monday

Happy Monday everyone!! So we didn't end up having a Harry Potter movie marathon last night. We ended up watching some of the original Nightmare on Elm Streets instead and playing board games. It was a great family night. :-) Didn't get a lot of sleep so pretty tired today.
Today was spent doing a little reorganizing, some Christmas shopping, and I got everything together for 3 art projects for my little guy and I to do this week. And I also got a bunch of Christmas/Winter projects together for us to do during December. Oh and I got our yearly gingerbread house today, we have been doing these since he was teeny tiny.

Today's project was just a turkey coloring page but was a lot of fun just the same, here are a couple of pictures.
The one on the left was the first one he did but he accidentally poked a hole in it and of course that made him sad, so we did another. :-)


And of course one of Ender and his Turkey. :-)
